Gulistan ARSLAN SUBASI

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

Gulistan completed her Bachelor of Education Degree in Special Education at the Ankara University in Turkiye in 2008. She then moved to Adelaide, Australia and completed her Master of Speech & Language Pathology Degree at Flinders University in 2014. She is currently continuing her Ph.D. studies in Speech and Language Therapy program at Hacettepe University, Ankara – Turkiye.

Gulistan can provide services in English and Turkish.

During her master’s degree as a student speech pathologist, she has completed her placements in various settings including special school, geriatric acute ward in different hospitals & medical settings, aged care centres, adult rehabilitation centres (clients with stroke, brain injury, and other conditions), child-care centres, and voice clinic. Her professional experience as a special education teacher & speech pathologist includes working with individuals having Autism Spectrum Disorders, Chromosomal disorders (Cleft lip and & palate, Down Syndrome), Aphasia (after stroke), language and learning problems, developmental delays, voice disorders, hearing impairment and various others.
